Cobra was the code name of Larry Staziani, a police officer from the narcotics squad who has since been fired. He now earns his living as a private detective, chasing husbands who cheat on their wives and dealing with stolen goods. One day he is commissioned by the FBI to kill the most powerful man in the drug trade. Cobra pursues his enemies as far as Italy. What awaits him there is a snake pit full of violence and crime. But he gets ever closer to Kandinsky, the drug boss. As both hunter and hunted, he is exposed to many intrigues, shootings and the kidnapping of his son, who is killed in the process. Cobra meets Brenda, a seductive nightclub singer who is looking for a way out of the milieu and joins Cobra. His hatred and hunger for revenge finally lead him to Mr. Big. Cobra's day has come . . .
