Saved by a local farmer, Dar grows up with the unique ability to communicate with animals including two mischievous ferrets named Kodo and Podo, a golden eagle named Sherak, and a panther named Ruh. Joined by his new allies: a slave girl named Kiri (Tanya Roberts), King Zed's younger son, and his capable bodyguard (John Amos), Dar takes on the nefarious forces under Maax's command to rid the kingdom of the high priest's evil forever.
