Deathgasm II: Goremageddon (Blu-ray) ***Preorder*** 2/2

A washed-up metalhead resurrects his dead bandmates for a battle-of-the-bands, unleashing riffs, gore, and apocalyptic chaos.

From writer/director Jason Lei Howden (Guns Akimbo) comes Deathgasm II: Goremageddon, the long-awaited sequel to the outrageous cult horror-comedy Deathgasm!

Years after unleashing hell on Earth, metalhead Brodie is broke, miserable, and struggling to find his place in the world. When a battle-of-the-bands competition offers a shot at redemption and a chance to win back his ex-girlfriend Medina, Brodie decides to reunite his old band. There's just one problem: most of his bandmates are dead. Armed with forbidden black magic and questionable judgment, Brodie resurrects his fallen friends, only to discover that bringing the dead back to life comes with some seriously gruesome consequences. Soon, the stage is set for an all-out supernatural bloodbath filled with demonic creatures, undead chaos, and enough gore to satisfy even the most hardcore horror fans.

Reuniting original stars Milo Cawthorne, Kimberley Crossman, and James Joshua Blake, Deathgasm II: Goremageddon cranks everything up to eleven with outrageous practical effects, wickedly dark humor, and a thunderous heavy-metal soundtrack featuring an original score by Trivium frontman Matt Heafy. It's louder, bloodier, and more gloriously unhinged than ever!
