But this seemingly easy assignment becomes the most difficult he’s encountered. With a sharp, satirical and sassy script, the movie is an intellectual battle of the sexes and becomes increasingly unpredictable towards the (quite literal) climax. Quirky and at times steamy, Holy Smoke contains intense performances from a cast at the height of their acting powers.
