Move over, Ed Wood and Tommy Wiseau. Stupefying, incomprehensible, and utterly insane, SCARLET WARNING 666 goes beyond THE ROOM and PLAN 9.
Do-it-all auteur Palmer Rockey wrote, produced, directed, and starred in this legendary lost magnum opus, shot in Dallas and originally titled IT HAPPENED ONE WEEKEND. Rockey plays twin brothers tangled up in a story of Satanic skullduggery and strange occult rituals on a country estate. After the film was laughed off the screen at its ill-fated 1974 premiere, Rockey spent decades re-working it as SCARLET LOVE and LOVE IS DEEP INSIDE, framing the unintended laughs as 'satire' and adding an original rock soundtrack with his own vocal stylings.
Rescued from oblivion by Grindhouse Releasing in its home video debut, Palmer Rockey's mind-numbing meta-movie will drop the jaw of even the most jaded cult-movie fiend. Be Warned: You have never seen anything like SCARLET WARNING 666.
