Star Trek I: The Motion Picture: A massive alien presence of enormous power enters Federation Space, destroying three powerful Klingon cruisers and neutralising everything in its path. As it heads towards Earth, Admiral James T. Kirk returns to the helm of an updated Enterprise and sets course to meet the aggressor head on.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: As Admiral James T. Kirk and Captain Spock monitor trainees at Starfleet Academy, another vessel from the United Federation of Planets is about to try out the planet-creating Genesis Device in a seemingly deserted portion of space. In the process, two of Kirk's officers are captured by Khan, an enemy Kirk thought he'd never see again. Once more, Kirk takes the Enterprise's helm, where he meets Khan's ship in an intergalactic showdown.

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock: In the wake of Spock's ultimate act of sacrifice, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise returns to Earth from the newly formed Genesis planet. Upon arrival, the crew learns that life back home will not be easier: Scotty gets reassigned, Dr. McCoy appears to be going insane, and the Enterprise is to be decommissioned. It is only when Kirk is confronted by Spock's father that he learns his old friend may have another chance at life, if the crew can survive a Klingon attack and return to the Genesis planet.
